I've known a lot of golfers over the years who've flung their clubs across the fairway in fits of anger and frustration. They didn't seem to have much love for the game, but continued to spend 1,000's of dollars anyway.
Some Pogo players are vowing to quit because they didn't get an EX Pass during the latest wave of invites. No doubt, these same players will rush to the gym when they finally get their chance to battle and capture a Mewtwo.
There's a weird kind of psychology at play here. Some players have the most intense negative emotions about this game. They come to this sub to vent, and yet, this remains one of the most popular apps on the planet.
My conclusion: Pogo is like a drug, highly addictive, triggering all the reward centers of the brain, but punishing you at the same time. Can you imagine walking through a park filled with pokestops with your app closed, just so you can smell the flowers? Me, probably not. I can pinapp a Pidgey and get 7 candies.
I didn't get an Ex Pass, however. FML
I did not find the right solution from the internet.
